Ingredients:
- 1 15 oz. can tomato sauce (oil free)
- 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- Whole wheat pita bread
Vegetable toppings:
- green onions thinly sliced
- red or green pepper, diced
- white onion, diced
- tomato, diced
- sliced black olives
- arthichoke
- spinach
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°
- Combine the tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic powder, oregano and thyme for sauce.
- Prepare vegetables as directed.
- For each pizza, turn a piece of pita bread upside down and spread it with some of the sauce. top liberally with chopped vegetables. Placeon a cookie sheet and bake until the edges are lightly browned, about 10-12 minutes (depending on oven).
