Hash Browns
One of our favorite Sunday morning breakfast items. This recipe is completely oil free and yet VERY tasty!
Servings: 4-6
Ingredients:
1 white onion, chopped
4-5 medium/large potatoes, chopped
Lawry's seasoning salt (or other favorite seasoning)
Granulated garlic
Directions:
1. Put chopped onion into skillet first.
2. Put potatoes in on top of the onion.
3. Sprinkle with Seasoning salt and granulated garlic.
4. Cook on high heat, turning and stirring periodically so bottom potatoes don't burn too much. Should take about 12-14 minutes or until potatoes are soft.
Note: The key to this recipe is the onion. The potatoes will actually look like they've been cooked in oil. If you do this recipe without the onion, it seems that the potatoes dry out too much for my liking.
