Ingredients:
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/3 cup of water
- 1 tsp. minced fresh garlic
- 3 15 oz. cans black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. white pepper
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- several twists of freshly ground black pepper
- 6 nonfat, vegan hotdogs (Smart dogs)
Instructions:
- Place the onion, bell pepper, water, and garlic in a large saucepan and cook, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients and cook over low heat for 15 minute, stirring occasionally.
